Well, its been a long time... but here we are in Perth (well Fremantle actually). We've done soooooo much since we left Sydney 2 months ago I ca't begin to describe it all. Best just look at the pictures really! So a very quick run down of what we've been up to is: drove south down NSW into Victoria, met wombats at Wilson's prom, trekked in Tasmania and met some noisey Devils! Drank beer, went on the Neighbours tour, and met the singing Dr Karl (and his band) in Melbourne. Drove, shopped and surfed along the Great Ocean Road- until Bruce the Hiace van broke down. Got Bruce back on the road, crossed into South Australia. Went to Kangaroo island where our dinner was attacked by the bouncing local fauna. Drank wine in Adelaide and looked at the sea at Streaky bay (too scared of sharks to surf there!). Ian's back broke down here and nearly got admitted to hospital... strong painkillers instead. Then the monster drive from South Oz to Western Oz (WA) across the Nullarbor Plain. Thousands of kilometres of straight roads and desert and only one burst tyre! Down to SW western Oz for beautiful beaches, inland to skate Wave Rock, over to Margaret River to be scared by very big reef break waves and climbs up very tall trees. And now we're finally in Fremantle. Phew! So the plan is to drive up the coast from here to Broome, and then back up to Darwin. Its bloody big is Australia!
