After a bad nights sleep, we had planned the night before to meet the girls for breakfast at 9 but stayed in bed for a while longer til 10.

Mini bus was leaving at 11 to take us to the train station to go to Xi'an. We arrived at the station to find it very busy & everyone all over the floor waiting. This train leaving was at 5.20 & took 14hrs so we'd arrive in Xi'an at 7.30. We all brought dinner to eat on the train. Bread, noodles, crisps, fruit & beer!!

We were in cabin 15 and each cabin had 6 quarters of 6 beds (2 bunk beds). In our area was Emma, me, Alex, Matt & baby Emma (too many Emma's in our group)! We all had a laugh & got to know each other more.

The lights went out at 10 so we all tried to get some sleep but the driver was keen on the breaks & the beds were hard so no one slept at all. I never got to sleep until 12ish & kept waking up.
