Woke up at 8 to pick up Emma & Sheila with Mum to go to the grave & leave Nan some flowers to say thank you. Went back to Eileen's to have a cuppa. Jeff said his goodbyes as he was off to work. Came home with mum.

9.30 got into shower for the last time. Enjoyed every luxury second of it as it may have been my last for a while (as Paddy reminded me). Had some cheese on toast (perfect). Finished sorting out my back pack & was done by 11.

Ray, Jade & the Tamplins (minus Jeff & Julian) arrived. Sid poured some bubbly & OJ & toasted a safe journey. All left for the airport.

Arrived at 12.15 & met Emma, Terry, Lenny, Sheila & Carole G. Had a drink & chat then Terry & Lenny said their goodbyes to Emma. Tears flowed on the Davies' side. Not the O'Brien's as we are HARD!!!!

Me & Emma went to check in our bags. Hers weighed more than mine. We also got an upgrade so had more leg room and better seats in general.

The rest of us went to have some lunch in the terminal. After a regular check of gate numbers it finally appeared. We slowy walked towards the departures & had a large farewell from the gang. More tears flowed but in the same eyes - Emma, Sheila, Carole & Eileen!

We went through with no probs & kept looking back & waving. No alarms went off so we were free to roam.

First stop was Wetherspoons where we got a cider & rose & chilled for a while. We headed towards gate 1b. Waited an hour or so & started boarding the coaches to take us to the plane. Arrived at the plane 10 mins later but never got of the bus onto the plane until 40 mins later. Rammed with Chinese kids & other randoms i felt a little flustered. Let me off so i can breathe!!!

We made ourselves comfy & took off at 5.30 (1 hr late). Our 1st meal was Chicken casserole (lush) & breakfast was sausage, tomato, scrambled egg & bacon (odd). We had a muller yoghurt & Emma made a comment about 'licking the lid of life'. Classic!
