Have been in Wellington for a couple of days now and can fully understand why its called Windy city! Apparantly they have 3-4 earthquakes here a year that you can feel but am really hoping that dosen't happen while we are here. They have got so many cool shoe shops here - I could spend so much money on shoes (if I had any money and had room to carry them in my backpack). Think I went in nearly every shoe shop in Wellington yesterday but I had a good excuse I had to get some black shoes for work (Managed to get a job in a posh hotel which I start today in the Restaurant/Bar - they don't know how clumsy I am yet!) So far the city seems really cool, theres loads to do, lots of bars and shoe shops so am very happy to stay here for a while. Went on a tour on Sunday and saw some pretty odd things like penguin crossing signs and lots of houses with their own cable cars going to them as the walk to them is so steep. Also did a two hour walk to see some seals but there weren't any there....
