Good Bye South East Asia, it's been a pleasure.... Helllooo New Zealand. :)

We had booked an apartment in Auckland before leaving England Knowing that we would be a little broken after South East Asia. What a fantastic idea that was. We arrived with our rucksacks in tow (looking DIRTY and a little out of place) at the most incredible hotel/apartments we have ever seen. Our lounge (yes lounge) and balcony view was looking onto Aukland harbour with the whole cit in view. It was so beautiful and to top it off we had free tea, SKY TV a washer and dryer, dishwasher, taxi service to wherever we wanted. Free taxi boat. The best beds we have EVER slept in. We could even request what type of duck feather pillow we wanted (soft, medium, hard) we treated ourselves to a pampering night in and made the most of the luxury knowing that it will be hostels from then on. The next day we wandered Aukland all day and sat in a bar along the harbour and soaked in the atmosphere. We missed our (free) taxi boat to our hotel (a little to much wine consumption perhaps) but luckily another friendly boat let us jump aboard. A pretty chilled out few days which we really really enjoyed.
