Rainbow beach was another small town with literally one row of shops in the whole town and lovely beach named rainbow after it's different colour sands the beach has big sand dunes where often loads of people do paragliding off rainbow beach and rainbow beach is also know for doing your fraser island trip

We was staying in a cute hostel called dingo's with a big field outside and has anice swimming pool and where we do our fraser island trip from. We also met Anna there to as she was doing the fraser island trip with us so another one to the gang. The first couple of days we just chilled at the beach with anna.

On our third morning at dingo's we had to be up early for our 2 day fraser island trip we was all so excited as after seeing so many amazing pictures of fraser island and hearing so much about it i couldn't wait to finally see it for my own eyes. As soon as we was up it was in our groups, there was 11 of us and we was called the a-team and we had a really cool group with us 4 girls and anna also tiim and joe from nottingham and ryan and joh from kent who were hillarious already had us in stiches the night before in the bar also 2 german girls called katrina and lena who were lovelty too. So first of all we had to pack up the roof rack of the 4x4 jeep with food,tents,sleeping bags,cooking stuff and of course loads of alcohol. Then all people who was going to drive got a quick theory lesson on how to drive the jeep, unfortunatley for me but lucky for the others i couldnt drive as you had to be atleast driving for two years and i have only been driving a year and a half. But Jen and claude and kelly was able to drive. Fraser Island is know for most amazing beaches and lakes.....

Jenna was the first person to drive the jeep and she drove us all the way onto the ferry, i was sitting infront with kelly and i was dj playing all the tunes through the car on the ipod so it was happy days, we had such a laugh driving around fraser island in jeep all singing along to our tunes. I first stop was to the beautiful Lake Mackenzie and it was so amazing and truly the best lake i have ever seen, the sand was pure white and the white was half dark blue and half light blue so niceeeeeeee it was like paradise we basically i stood there with our mouths open ha ha, so then was clothes off and striaght into the lake the water was so lovely and pure it was so lush. We had a race in the water then played wrestling games i was on joe sholders (boy git) i must of squashed the life out of him, kelly (shelia) won the agressive one he he just kidding. Then we had loads of pictures in the water claude being photographic as always getting us to do all sorts of pose's in the water everything from star jumps, climbing on backs and action shots running out of the sea(you name it we did it) ha ha...

After that we had lunch outside our jeep the pack lunch they gave us look pretty minging we had a choice of beef for our sandwiches but it look so nasty we just had peanut butter sandwiches or crisp sandwiches (yummy) we also had dingo's sniffing around everywhere, everyone says dingo's are scary but just seemed like a normal dog to me plus i had already been warned not to feed the dingo's by the girls as they know how much i love dogs he he, to be honest i think they was just eyeing us all up for dinner not our rubbish sandwiches ha ha, after that we drove down to the front of the beach and found a spot to set up camp before the tide came in. It was so hot putting up the tents in the blazing sunshine, i didn't have a clue how to even start to put up a tent luckly enough anna had put tents up before. After that we played football rounders on the beach which was fun especially as my team won whoooo. The beach was so lovely just a shame you cant swim in the sea as of jelly fishes and sharks. so it was just a toe dip for us.

That night we made chicken stir fry from our pre-packed lunch, anna chopped up all the veggies and i did the cooking, the stir fry wasnt bad as i was starving but i didnt really eat much of it as the chicken looked a bit gross. That night was the funniest night ever we was playing ring of fire our drinking game from surf camp all night and everyone got so smashed one of the german girls katrina got so drunk int was hillarious she was doing dirty dancung to christina auguleira song dirty (so funny) we was all in fits go germany, we was all dancing around on the sand, jenna could hardly stand up she was so drunk it was so funny everytime she would dance she would eneded up falling over with her face in the sand she was literally more or less eatting it one point ha ha so funny. kelly was well drunk to doing her usual celia black impressions of blind date ha ha ledge!!!! That nite we all drunk so much the only problem was everytime you had a drink you had to take the spade into the bush dig a hole to have a wee whilst being scared u was going to get eatern by a dingo you should of seen how scared us girls were it was hillarious ha ha...

That night was our first night sleeping in our tents we was all so scared as the boys kept joking around telling us we would be eatern by dingo's or snakes in the night. The next morning i was woken up by the blazing sun shining through the tent and i had the hangover from hell and it was so hot i just wanted to cry ha ha. there just wasnt anywhere to sit to get away from the sun. As i was brushing my teeth just wanting to put a bag over my head as of feeling so minging jenna walked over looking like how i felt she said she had the worst headche ever and needed water( yep she defiantley didn't have her mum there this time bringing up nuerofen and water to her room like most sunday morning at home) he he.

That day we couldnt drive off the beach untill the tide had gone out which was about 10.30 as your not allowed to drive in the water. That day we first went to indian head which had the most amazing views of the beach and the ocean, then we drove to the champagne pools which were so nice there were little pools you could sit in while as the waves hit the rocks there shoot over the top into the pools forming bubbles, there were lovely could of stayed there all day, after that we went to see the old ship wreck but it started to pour down with rain then there was anoth lake there which had eels in it.

After that we decided we better set up camp somewhere again as it was so windy and raining by then we thought it was best to get the tents up as soon as because the weather was turing for the worst, us girls all got to say in the truck why the boys put up all the tents how lucky was that good job as well as the heavens ahd defiantley opened by this time ha ha poor boys. So that night us girls returned the favour by doing dinner that night we had steak potatoes and veg it took so long to cook as the wind kept blowning the gas cooker out trust me waiting for them potatoes to cook was like watching paint dry and worst thing was we were all starvin by this time, plus the steak meat looked dodgey the boys reckon it was dingo meat ha ha. That night we was all so still hungover so we all had a early night while tried too but john kept playing jokes pretending there were dingo's outside the tent it was so funny i so scared u should of seen my face ha ha. plus it was the windiest night the tent kept moving i thought the tent was going to blow away at one point it was so cold too so missed my warm bed at home that night.

The last day we went to lake wabby such a beautiful lake with huge sand dunes right next to it, it was so hard walking up the big dunes i was literally just sinking through the sand after that we had a quck stop at lake mckenzie again so love it there, then we missed our ferry so was about 3 hours late back opps....... the guy at the garage went mad and told us all off as he was waiting to check over the jeep when we got back so we got charged a extra 50 dollars between us , him and john nearly came to blow to what a nightmare ha ha...

that night we had a lovely meal out with the family in rainbow beach a proper resteraunt no more dingo meat for us he he we had a really good night sleep in a nice warm bed forget camp ha ha

In the morning we said by to all our family (the a team) from fraser which was quite sad we see ryan,john and katrin off on the bus by mooning as the bus drove way ha ha they loved it
