Magnetic Island

We got on the oz bus we had bus driver Linda who's really funny so that was cool, we drove to townsville where you get the ferry from there to magnetic island. We had to get the later ferry as claudia had a appointment at the eye specialist in townsville at 2pm we was all praying claudia would finally get her eye on the mend. The eye specialist was excellent she did all these checks on her eye and told claudia she had some infenction (sorry cant rember the name) and all she needed was steroid eye drops to take and within 4 days here eye's would be all better.

Claudia come out the eye clinc so happy she cried we was all so relieved that claudia was finally going to get better,best news ever, now claude could finally stop worrying

After the good news we grabbed some lunch the girls were happy as there got roast beef and gravy in a roll and i just stuck to a bacon sandwich the guy in the cafe kept giving us free pies(hello.....do i look like a need a pie) ha ha

after that we got a taxi to the ferry station and got the ferry to magnetic island, magnetic island is in the middle of know where so beautiful. we got the bus to our hostel base it was so funny so many of us backpackers cramped onto this little bus with all these massive bags we were ike a tin of sardines

We was greeted at out hostel with cold drinks the hostel over looked the beach and had a big lovely swimming pool over looking the sea a nice big bar and lovely little huts to stay in. Claudia got our room up graded which was lovely nice and modern and the most amazing sea views from our hut i was one happy bunny....

Magnetic island is a very quite chilled out place and known for having the most koala's we had a really relaxed time in magnetic island just chilled right out and just laid there enjoying the lovely sunshine sitting round the pool listerning to tunes on my ipod and having early nights in (saddo's) ha ha well after all the drinking and partying in airlie i think we defiantley needed it........
