Right so I've finally found some time and updated my diary enough to be able to do a good blog well hopefully if i don't run out of time... right so 25th jan after we'd finished in Global Gossip where I uploaded all my pics and updated my blog we headed back to the beach and stopped at Domino's on the way they had an offer on large Hawaiins for $3.95! bargain so each got one of those and a garlic bread to share, unfortunatly we were sharing the beach with several local drunks so headed back to Aquarius. 26th jan which for any of you that don't know is Australia Day this typically means fancy dress and unfortunatly a little too much too drink. We started the day well walked upto the lighthouse and following the right path this time we made it all the way to the top, saw some manta rays and then some sea turtles and then dolphins yay!! quite a small group but jumping in and out through the waves was really good took some pictures but the zoom on my camera is not that great so you can't make too much out. Saw my 2nd snake of Australia too quite small nearly stepped on it as I didn't actually see it until it was pointed out to me! Went to the most Easternly point of Australia whilst we were there and then walked back through the mini rainforest to Byron Bay. Went into town to buy our outfits for tonight, we bought one yellow dress and one green dress and then wore them with leggings, had a good night drinking champagne most of the way! everyone was in a good mood because of Australia day so was a good night but I did drop my doughnuts on the way home! :( oh and Murray got knocked out of the Aussie open today.

27th January... Got up late but I'm feeling better than Laura, went to fishheads and sat on the rocks by the beach for lunch again, love that fish and chips shop. went into the sea and both discovered out bikinis are not made for waves.. ahem so left the sea and back to the apartment, Laura sorted her Qantas flights and mine are sorted from Cairns to Alice Springs and Alice - Perth now so we look set to go. Chicken home brand noodles for dinner oh yeah. oh and atin of peaches mmm, oh also i got bitten by a spider today :( really painful felt like stinging nettles being constantly being pressed onto my skin for several hours but I'm alive so not so bad.

28th Jan..Went back to Nimbin today so we got up quite early, got some chips and a bracelet in Nimbin very hot weather, went to Cheeky Monkeys when we got back to Byron and had a free dinner that we had a voucher for, was very small but reasonably nice. Sat on the beach again before bed but not a very adventurous day!

29th Jan... Went to catch our bus upto Surfers, and it started raining really hard so I got the first use out of my raincover thats on my bag woohoo! absolutly soaked though i was! Went into Islander but they had no room! oops not planned for that so went into the bus centre and found some travel at a place called trekkers... central apparently. however Trekkers turned out to be an appropriate name it was a good 45minute walk from central but there we go we paid for one night and we'll leave in the morning! had a very very nasty meal tried to use up our leftovers but it wasn't our best idea! Bought our tickets for Wet and Wild water park and the seaworld, then met up with two others we'd met the week before then headed back to our apartment miles out!

30th January... went straight back to Islander and managed to get into the 10bed dorm which is only $18 a night bargain! went to Wet and Wild had a really good day some really good rides, some scary like a 70degree backwards drop but all good fun! was a really nice day rained at about 4pm but we had started to plan on going home by then anyway. atched Neighbours when we got back and then went to book my flight home... that's all done if you don't know already I land on 12th April.. Easter Sunday.. anyway so we did that and then got an early night and enjoying the air con ahhh.

31st Jan... Had fresh bread for breakfast and went down to the beach where they were filming a docu on the lifesaving club and so we sat and watched and within half and hour saw three rescues and a log pulled from the sea! madness the sea was reallly violent though, big dumping waves but we didn't go in there just stayed on the beach observing, so glad I'm not a beach lifeguard! Went to Melbas a club in Surfers we had free entry too and Laura gained a Cowboy hat!

1st Feb... Went to the pool in the hostel after breakfast and then went down to the beach again, but no such events as yesterday! Decided to go to the Cinema Laura had seen and decided to walk it, took us over a hour of walking but we eventually got there turns out it was quite near Trekkers! saw Role Models, very funny film Steph you should defo go and see that one! Quite a cheap day on the whole!

2nd Feb.. Seaworld today, next time I get the chance will upload my seaworld pictures they do most of the talking really, saw a famous Aussie Chef doing a TV piece I think his name is Huey? Had noodles for dinner again and then went to bed!

3rd Feb... oh no running out of time will make these last ones shorter! Arrived in Brisbane today and I love it, can defo see why Andrew stayed here! Spent the day on the beach back at surfers before the bus to Brisbane this was! Early night once we got to Brisbane!

4th Feb... After brekkie ended up shopping for 4hours but didn't buy too much our budget isn't very forgiving but got a few bits for tonight! Managed a few drinks tonight in the bar downstairs under the bar and met up with a couple of guys we'd met before.

5th Feb... Really didn't do much went to the Cinema and nothing was on so came back again, painted my nails and sat on the roof top in the evening! like I said didn't do much!

6th Feb... Went to the cinema at lunchtime and saw Marley and Me it's possibly the saddest film ever! Putting animals and children in the same movie shouldn't be allowed but was very good even if i did cry for most of it! and got an early night!

7th Feb... Saw some nasty spiders up by coles and then spent the day at the manmade beach in Southbank. Debating going to a foam party tonight but didn't ended up back in the bar under the hostel again but another cheap day!

8th Feb...Uploaded all my pictures onto Facebook today (i will put them on here soon!) Went for a swim in the small outdoor pool closest to the hostel called Ithaca it's just behind the Suncorp Stadium was nice very family orientated though not much room for me to do laps but did a bit! Noodles again for dinner!

9th Feb.. Went to find Andrew a Brisbane Bronchos shirt today and got my second ear holes pierced bt it's actually in place of my first, so my first holes are now my second if that makes sense! that was about all really not feeling great today!

10th Feb.. almost done! so today I cuddled a Koala most possibly the cutest thing in the world, Have some pictures to put up his name was Wendle, we went to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctury which had the world record for the oldest Koala but this wasn't Wendle he was a cute little male (they live sorter lives!) got loads of pictures again will upload when I can! went through the botanical gardens on the way home and packed up again.. that was Brisbane.

11th Feb... so today we were up horribly early and left Brisbane at 7am! Got into our new place it's really cute walked round town went to the beach saw a lot actually today's been good there is no global gossip here though so I can only add photos which are already on facebook for now but yeah so now I'm in Noosa safe from the fires and floods which are slowing down now so fingers crossed no1 else will come to any harm.

Right I only have one minute left before this kicks me off so hope everyone is well and I will try not to leave it so long but am off to Fraser Island next week so not sure that I will be online for a while! xxx
