Ruth Woah, you picked an absolutely brilliant time to visit Khartoum...what with the civil war...probably would explain the lack of tourists and the police. :D I spent a large chunk of my childhood there and was present at the reopening of those pyramids so I'm glad you enjoyed them. I hope you didn't mention alcohol to anyone and you may be in danger what with those photos... anyway, I hope you enjoy your travels and I'll keep reading, your writing is rather interesting.

Make sure you put your camera in a plastic bag for Vic Falls...are you going to bungee jump!? And when you get to Harare, go into the town centre proper...not just the shopping centrey bit on the outskirts...cool as! Well jell innit! xxxxx
