Hiya! Snorkelling yesterday was amazing! Our boat left Cairns at 8.30am it took us about 2 hours to get out to the reef, we had safety talks and stuff on the way, then we all got our snorkels fins and stinger suits and in we went. The sea was really choppy and i kept choking on salt water going down my pipe so we had a quick swim round and then got back on the boat for lunch, after lunch the sea had calmed a little so i went back in for another swim. Hiya, I have arrived in Cairns and met up with Gemma. We arrived early yesterday and spent the day walking round in the rain trying to find something to do. Apparently Cairns is a place that people uses as a base to go on day trips from. We are in a travel agents right now waiting to organise something, hopefully we will go up to Cape Tribulation which is where the rainforest meets the ocean.
