Well this is my final entry for Australia. We have been in Cairns for the last 5 days (a little longer than needed here...in fact a day would probably do you!) We were staying at Gilligans, which is highly recommended - really nice rooms, tv and kitchen area etc. Stay here if you are going to Cairns! As I was saying there isnt a huge amount to do here, so we've filled out days by lazing by the lagoon and chilling out in the evening. Did go out one evening but that wasnt a huge success so it wasnt repeated!! It's really hard to believe that we've been here just over a month and are now about to start our final leg of our adventures....to be fair that is another 2 months but it really feels like we are on the homeward stretch! very scary thought to be honest! Where have the last 5 months gone?! so...South East Asia here we come!!!
