This morning we visited the Waitomo caves to see the glow worms. The glow worms lead a pretty crap exsitence. They spend most of their time just glowing to attract flies and anything else they can eat. Then once they themselves turn into flies they dont actually have a mouth so they die! luckly them! We set off at a fairly reasonable hour today which was very nice! Our first stop was a Redwood Forest which was lovely first thing in the morning. Though a did feel sorry for the local people trying to do their morning jog - a few times the had to practically run into the bushes to pass us! Well today we made our way to Rotorua - also known as Rotten Rua due to the smell of the place. Due to the sulphur it constantly smells of rotten eggs - delightful!! Unfortunatley we werent allowed to go down it...which is probably a good thing as we would have all gone crazy trying to find a nugget to help us pay our way around the country!! Well we have been moving down the country slowly but surely today!
