Hi Everyone! Well we are now in Wanaka, where we have spent the last 3 nights. So nice to be in the one place for more than one night! To add to this, our accomodation has only been $20 a night (approx 6 quid) - all the rooms are ensuite and we have TVs that play about 4 movies a day. It's so great! Well we arrived in Franz Josef last night - its a huge place - one whole street! This is a fairly common site in New Zealand and it impresses me each time that people live here permantly! The whole reason for visiting this place is to walk on the Franz Josepf Glacier - the steepest glacier in the world I'll have you all know.
