So today we visited the Brazilian side of the falls! Good lord that is one hell of an amount of water! we had booked ourselves onto the Macuco Safari tour, which basically involved a weird golf buggy train that took us through part of the forest. We were luckily enough to be shown three very exciting trees (a real highlight to the day as you can imagine!). The tour then continued as a walk through the shrubs, down to the water. This is where we caught the boat that would take us through the falls. This was such an excellent ride! We got completely soaked to the bone! It was like we had jumped into a pool with our clothes on and stupidly we hadn't thought to take a change of clothes. Its hard to describe the sheer size of the falls; the photos give you some kind of an idea but they don't really do them justice. Apparently they are about 8 to 10 times bigger than Niagra Falls....so they're pretty big! We are off to the Argentine side tomorrow!
