Today was going to be a busy day as we had the friends of the family coming and their step brother coming to stay the rest of the week. I woke up and made myself and the children breakfast and tidied the house whilst the family prepared the homemade Paella. We made our way to the swimming pool and had a quick bath before lunch. I ended up speaking to a woman and her son who could speak a little English but I felt confident talking some Spanish. I think I talk better when I don't know the person. For lunch we had paella and for dessert a home made flan which was egg cake basically! It was strange but surprisingly ok as some parts tasted like sweet eggs! After lunch we made our way back to the pool and played a game with everyone passing round a ball, it was a good laugh as I had a carry on with the children. Me, the mother and her 2 friends then sunbathed and spoke Spanish it's really nice how welcome they all make me feel and involved. At night I watched the end of the Barca Leicester game which was Barca winning of course. The friends then left and we had hamburgers for dinner then we stayed up late carrying on. They even decided to take a video saying goodnight to me it was hilarious.
