Up nice and early after our early night and we made our way to Wallaman Falls in the Girringun National Park. It was long windy clay road up a rainforest covered mountain and Frank wasn't too keen on it. He got us there eventually and we saw the magnificent falls. It was huge at 268 metres high! There were a lot clouds setting in but we still got a good view of the falls and it gave us a very good excuse not to do the 2 hour walk to the bottom of them!
We had brief stop offs at a 'big crab' and a 'big wellie' (the best 'big thing' so far) before arriving at our next stop - Mission beach.
Mission beach seems to be a hippy sort of town that is spread out on 14km of golden sand. There's plenty of budget draining activities nearby- whitewater rafting, skydiving, crocspotting and diving. We're not sure what we can afford yet though! Probably not a lot!
