Another day doing even less than yesterday, only this time we made the big decision to eat at Pizza Hut instead! We did want to go to Genting Highlands, which is basicall Las Vegas in Malaysia, but it would have turned out to way too expensive - had to pay for entrance in the park and then for rides on top! After Claire's persistent suggestion, Dave got some new cool looking flipflops - the type that has the plastic between your toes which Dave does normally ...

We did absolutely nothing today - just chilled out in the guesthouse lounge area before walking up to the Petronas Towers for a NANDO'S! After stuffing ourselves stupid with chicken we stopped off at the local park where we were surrounded by malay locals all wanting their pictures taken with us! Headed back to the hostel and slouched in front of a dvd for the rest of the night with other travellers.

Caught 2 buses and a monorail early this morning to get us to KL. We checked into a mixed dorm in a really nice hostel and went off to explore the capital. It's so quiet compared to every other city that we've been too, it isnt too big and the people are really friendly and helpful - we'd been walking around for about 5 minutes and had already been approached by 2 people asking if we needed any help! Woken up bright and early by the 'nice' French guy so we decided to make a move and go into the rainforest and find the canopy walkway which is basically a rope bridge that takes you 40 metres up into the trees where you then walk for about 500 metres - as long as you don't look down or swing the bridges you'll be fine! With feet firmly on the ground we went back into the jungle and took another walk down to a swimming area - after great amusement from watching ...

We were picked up this morning for our trip to Taman Nagara, the huge rainforest - national park. Unfortunatley 3 very very annoying girls from Birmingham who made the first 2 hours nearly unbearable! Thankfully they got off after 2 hours and for the next 6 hours it was just us 2 and the driver to take us all the way to the jungle. We eventually arrived after a 6 hour bumpy road and checked into our first 8 bed dorm - not bad for 13 ringett (£2) each! Boo...
