Yesterday after rehearsal I watched the sunset over the river. The sky reflected dusky pink, purple and indigo on the metallic water. Everything was washed in the kind of light that makes even factory buildings glow suddenly beautiful.
An airplane practiced loop-de-loops overhead.
Lovers (aged 13-83) littered the park and stole all the hidden grottos.
