Cindy Aserkoff's Travels
After a short bus ride, we attended the services at St. Isaacs russian orthodox cathedral. Today was a special day because of Easter. We saw regional priest ceremony, undressing and dressing in ceremonial robes. This was quite moving, observing with regular parishioners. After lunch was a bus ride ride Catherine's Palace. So many gilded rooms and a large room with mirrors that made the castle look endless. It is difficult to describe the size and splendor of this summer palace. This has been an amazing trip. We learned so much about the Baltic countries. Our guide, Vita, was one of the best. We did so many things, and walked a lot. There is way too much to tell in this blog. Ask me when we return to describe in more detail how wonderful this trip was.

Richard Wolters Hey Cindy I just saw your post coming in. After years of using the Travel pod blog site (soon to be closed) I am trying to get my head around offexploring. I wonder why you don't show pictures other than the background? or am I looking in the wrong direction. Please let me know- By the way I did the same trip and loved it)
