Another early start! Got picked up at 08.15, Kelly wanted a guide for the day to visit Angkor Wat so we booked a tour the night before. Had a khmer guide called Mr Sophea he was really sweet his English wasn't thay great and found it difficult to understand after a while! not like Kelly!

Were taken by air con mini van - a luxury after everything else! ;o) to Angkor Wat. Spent a couple of hours looking around, it was amazing! Fairly busy with western and korean tourists as well!

At 11.00 we got picked up and taken to a practising Buddhist temple which was used during the Khmer Rouge times as an interragtion unit for the intellectuals. Saw the Monks having their lunch! Went back to the hostel where we booked the tour and had lunch with Mr Sophea.

Not long after we got picked up again and taken to Angkor Thom another temple not that far from Angkor Wat. Again it was an amazing site and could walk around it more.

Got picked up at 3pm ish and were taken back to our hostel. Found an internet cafe and tried to download pictures but it took ages because of the slow connection so gave up!

After we went to another restaurant recommended by Kelly's Lonely Planet guide called 'Butterfly Gardens' it was a beautiful setting and in the day the idea is to see the butterflies! ;o) Wasn't that impressed with the food - had fish which said was steamed but came out battered?!

Had a walk through the center of the town and went to bed!
