Oh don't - I'm not looking forward to the big quarter life crisis myself much either! 25 - gosh, you're supposed to be capable by 25!!
You know what Mum, you've worked a good job on me cos even now when I see a type of butterfly or fish I havnt seen before I very badly want to tick it off in an Usbourne Spotters book ;)
Ewan, you are of course right - the pandas were phenomenal. And thanks for your email about cows on the beach in your video game. Surprisingly comforting.. ;)

How lucky you are Christie that I don't have the wits or technological skills to post a photo to accompany that last message - but I'm getting ever nearer! Lovely to talk to you today, sorry I had to go but I was being called by a fuchsia cardi in Monsoon - as you do! Imagine our Jess being a quarter of a century old tomorrow! LOL Mxxx

I should tell you Ewan that when Christie was a baby I took her to see the gorillas in Regent's Park Zoo, a walk of about hour and a half from my sister-in-law's flat. When, triumphant, I announced "We're here!" I discovered she was sound asleep in her pushchair - and remained so. I had to tell myself about all the interesting things we saw. It explains a lot about boh of us, I think. . .

Sal, after hanging out with pandas, is it worth mentioning any other wildlife? I mean, pandas!!!! PANDAS!!!!!!!!!
Sal
Never occurred to me til you said that the rain could stir up the water and ruin chances of scuba diving, is the water still clear and warm enough near shore to swim in and see some wildlife? You haven't said anything about seeing wonderful critters since you saw the pandas! We have a wonderful pair of green woodpeckers on our lawn at the mo, like green'n'red'n'black penguins! Took Kyla and Rich to see HANCOCK on Cheap Tues this week, not a classic like MIB but some very funny bits, but hey, what's not to love about Will Smith as Superman in leathers! LOL Mxxx
Sal
Christie, Rona has been kind enough to send your birthday card to your 1st night address so if you've moved now, will you check back there before you leave to see if it's arrived, and maybe let 'em know you're expecting mail? Saw Jess and her tum yesterday when I dropped some flowers into Rona, she looks great, like you with your backpack on back to front! Hope the rain has stopped and you are enjoying your hammock and the pool! LOL Mxxx
Stan
Still looking forward to the Curly Wurly as mentioned in Sal's posting of 1st July...
Sal
Well my sweet, you did say you were LONGING to get away from all the noise and hustle'n'bustle of the city, sounds like you've achieved that! Just hang on in there 'til the rain stops (we've been waiting since last July and it's bucketing down today!) and it'll be idyllic! Might be a good opportunity to do some sightseeing & learn something about Vietnam's history altho' I'd be happier if you hooked up with another traveller first! You take very good care! Kyla's last day with her little ones today, there will be tears galore I think! LOL Mxxx
Jess
Hello honey bunch, how yu doing? I'm going to read through your blog tonight which i'm looking forward to. Got Miriam coming over too. I'm leaving work on friday can you believe?! And then moving to Shrewsbury on Monday. Having the usual bday bbq on sunday which obviously wont be the same without you but your mum, dad and Kyla are coming which is great.
I think you should come back now because it's been long enough and i'm missing you.
Thank you soooo much for all the cool stuff you sent me. Our embryo bond has been at work i think cause i got a new phone last week, it's pink and the phone charm just makes it, thank you : )
Any way i'm sure you've got much more exciting this to do and i'm going to get on with reading about what you have been doing.

Love you lots xxxx

Accompanied Kyla and her little treasures on a jolly school trip to Eastnor Castle yesterday, had a LOVELY time, tho Stan says "I shouldn't think so, love, it's been 20 years!" is an inadmissible answer to "Can you do my school tie?". He has no sense of humour, the chap! Hope you are safely settled in, watch out for birthday mail from Rona and Jess - some gr8 pregnancy fotos of her, have a look! LOL Mxxx
Nick
Loved the last blog entry, made a very dull and miserable Monday morning at work start with chuckle.
Sal
