Wicked! We have our visas for India!!! We're so happy.It was stressful. People joke about LPDR standing for Laos Please Dont Rush -as opposed to Laos People's Democratic Republic and it's true-what apprently was supposed to take a whole week,was sorted (after some prompting from ourselves)30mins... but we have them! Hello again all, We're on the remote island of Don Det,4000 islands,south Laos! We've only seen 3 so far and about 100 on the map so where the others are is beyond.Slight exaggeration I think! Hey! We arrived in Pakse yesterday morning after a very long bus ride from Vientiane. We dragged our feet into to a few guesthouses,one that was great but had a ridicoulous resident myna bird that we didn't find cute,especially at that time in the morning. Hello again, We've had the best day in Luang Prabang! Thought it would be difficult to beat yesterday's,but it did! After a late rise,we ventured out to the town for breakfast before grabbing a Tuk-tuk to the Kuang Si waterfalls & bears!(opted out an elephant tour as no doubt we'll see them in India). Luang Prabang is excellent! We arrived last night & we've fallen in love with the place already! First thing we did today was get a couple of bikes and travel around the area.
