Mui Ne summed up is a very expensive Russian Resort town, with lots of kite surfers. Once again I am lucky enough to catch up with the lovely Sarah who is having kite surfing lessons here. After few days of relaxing by the beach, eating and reading my book. I am ready to get back on the road again and its time to head off to the big city that is Ho Chi Mihn.

Da Lat has a very different feel to it than the other Vietnamese places I have visited so far. In a strange sort of way it feels a little bit like a mini India, the streets are dirty, the street food is great, the people all stare at us and the countryside is stunning. So i have made it to the beach, party city of Vietnam! Turns out though that i'm not overly interested in either. A few hours over the next few days on the beach relaxing and reading my book is good, but i think i prefer to be out doing things. However, there doesn't seem to be a great deal to do here appart from watersports and the water here is not that clear at the moment. Hoi An is a lovely old town on the side of the river and close to the beach. The best way to get around here is to hire a bicycle giving you the chance to explore the Old Town and the surrounding area and also get to the beach. A great thing about this place is that it's a lovely place to just wander around, there area plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you occupied and benches along the riverside to sit and relax on. So despite having my bus ticket to get to Hoi An, I decide to travel the journey in true Top Gear style, by motorbike, the only way to travel in Vietnam! After the successful tour yesterday we book the trip with the same drivers and at 8:30 me and Marianne hit the road with our guides.
