For the first night in the Mekong I am staying in a Homestay, it's in a lovely little village, the huts for guests are made from wood situated by a small stream. I am sharing with Lisa from the Netherlands and Angela from Middlesbrough. We have a huge evening meal and share it with a French family. The next morning I head across the river to see the market and then after breakfast head to the floating market. It is full of boats selling all kinds of fruits and vegetables, plus drinks for the tourists of course. During the day we visit a rice noodle factory to see how the noodles are made; it's such a lengthy process! After we go to a rice factory and lastly a crocodile farm, I am still to try the Vietnamese delicacy though.
