Today is the Naval Fleet Review in Sydney Harbour. I didn't really understand what is was when I agreed to go with Pam and the Rotary club on a ship for the evening. However as the day got closer it appeared that is was going to be a massive celebration. We had dinner on the boat, and floated around the harbour looking at all the visiting ships. Once it was dark there was a spectacular light show and fireworks display. It was the biggest show the harbour had ever done, so now I don't feel the need to return for New Years to see the fireworks. Going on the boat was a brilliant idea, as when you looked around the shore there were millions of people crowded around.

We even saw Prince Harry!!!! He was on a little boat being transported between the war ships and shore. The number of police boats escorting his boat certainly made it stand out and everyone crowded to have a look.
