hello again, just a short little postcard on kuala lumpur (kl). i was here for 3 days, checking out the sight, sounds and smells of the city, some of the latter are not all that pleasent! kl is a cool city if you like shopping and spending loads of money. but for me, seeing i'd rather pull off my own toe nails than shop all day, i just found it like anyother big city. i managed to walk around the main sights of the city within the first day. i was absolutely knackered after doing it but i did it anyway. the patronas towers were pretty cool, especially at night. you can go up to the bridge in the middle but you had to que up for hours to get a ticket and i wasn't really up for that, so i just admired them from the ground. not much else to report on kl. plenty of expensive shops, very clean, great if you got loads of money. if you can't make it to hong kong, kl is not a bad substitute. next stop, the historical city of melaka. speak to you then. christopher.
