Sunday 29th June we arrived in Bolivia. This was after a hefty overnight bus journey from Cusco with one of the most random border crossings we had ever had. To say it would have been easy to enter Bolivia without showing a passport and getting stamped is an understatement. We literally wondered pass border control not even realising it was there. Different.
After a good 15 plus hours we were in Le Paz. Now in Cusco we were altitude but La Paz is even higher. Close to 4000m above sea level, literally everything you do takes your breath away. Checked into the Wild Rover hostel and needed some chill time. It was the final of the European Championships (the one's England didn't feel like showing upto) so we grabbed some food and watched it in the bar with a lot of odd jobs. That afternoon we wanted to get some sort of Amazon based banter sorted out so we booked up our Pampus tour to Rurrenabaque. After that it was time for a kip. It's amazing how tired you feel at such a height. That evening we just headed out for a meal. Cheeky little steak dinner and then bedtime. We could see it was going to take time to adjust.
The next day we shifted out of Wild Rover and off to Loki. Today was yet another one of our infamous chill days. Some I-net action and a general wonder was the highlight. It was time to get the Ray Mears game face on. We were off to the Jungle to wrestle Gators so we had to take it easy!!! That evening we went to Olivers Travel's for a very tastey number if not the worlds slowest. The lads also got the Bolivian tradition of a battered Mars Bar down them for dinner. It's been a while since we'd had one of those bad boys!!
On the Tuesday it was another big morning in bed before getting our gear together and heading off to the airport. A sneaky BK and then it was jungle time. Amazon here we come!

Levi MartaTake some puzzle pieecs. Paint them different Christmas Colors. Glue them together to look like a Christmas wreath. Glue a bow and an ornament hook to them, and hang them on your Christmas tree. They look very pretty! You can also give them to your friends or family members as agift.
