We arrived today on Ko Phi Phi Don, the neighbour of the famous Ko Phi Phi Lei where the Beach was filmed.
The island is amazing. It's not as big as I imagined it to be bust still it has so much to offer.
Our day started with an early start, a stressful breakfast coz we thought that the restaurant staff weren't going to show up and our taxi was meant to pick us up in 30 minutes.
Thankfully a lady, very stressed lady I might add, arrived and started to organise herself and took our orders.
Our taxi arrived promptly being late, no surprise really but it arrived none the less so we were thankful.
After a short drive we arrives at the port, boarded and made our way to Phi Phi. The boat trip was defiantly eventful.
I never had any problems on the Disney Dream when it came to sea sickness but this ferry was going to change/test my sea legs.
It was the first time I have been on a boat that bounces through the waves. The weather isn't perfect at the moment which made the sea a little feisty.
None the less we arrive an hour later, still holding in our half chewed breakfasts.
We wondered around the island looking for a suitable accommodation and were lucky enough to find the Garden House Resort.
Nice, clean bungalows packed with plants, interior decor to make it feel like your room is a small hut in amongst the woods and attached to your 'forest like' bathroom.
Even though we felt the fatigue we decided to take a trip up to the view point on the island. Amazing views and moderately nice milk shakes.
We planning on staying for two nights and then taking another boat to Phuket where we will fly to Kuala Lumpu.
We were planning in going to the Thai Kick Boxing bar and have dinner but a storm brewed over the ocean and made it's way to the island. We saw the tempest coming and headed for the bungalow and decided to wait it out before heading out again.
