Arriving in Kolkata we found it wet but warm. The rain didn't seem to be ending anytime soon. It didn't matter really. We knew where we were going and what we had to do so we headed out.
We caught a ferry across to the main land and the city of Kolkata. Caught a taxi after bargaining the driving from Rs120 down to Rs60. It seems that the whole of India revolves around bargaining and getting things cheaper or ripping people off.
It didn't take long for us to find a hotel. A hotel with AC!!! Thank goodness.
Before finding the hotel we passed the Tourist Office and we checked the prices for trains to Darjeeling. The price was so much more then the price we expected. So we decided to skip Darjeeling too and just head to the beaches in Thailand.

We have had a great time in Kolkata and are happy to have experienced it.
(I'm skipping a few days here)
Our flight is just before lunch and we need to organise a flight out of Thailand. A rumour we heard was that we need a flight out or they won't let us into the country once we have landed.
Just to be on the same side we headed to the airport to book a flight but it turns out that we can't book flights there and so we have no flight out of Thailand and are going to chance it!!!

Today we are flying to the Thailand. Kolkata to Bangkok.
The moment of truth.
The flight was easy. The airline though I'm not sure about. It wasn't the best. The flight was pretty rough.
