After a very short introduction and contract walk through, the orientation was over and we were told we have the rest of the day off.
We were given our exclusive Disney passes which allow us into the resorts for free so Mandy and I took advantage of the situation and visited Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Absolutely wow! As Mandy put it, "the attention to detail is amazing!"
I have never had so much fun at a theme park, or a safari at a theme park.
The rides are amazing. My favourite was the yeti mountain ride. Really cool. The roller coaster reaches the summit of the mountain, makes it's way round and stops at a point where the tracks are broken. The car stops and waits while a quick audio of the yeti in the distance can be heard. It then rolls backwards and enters a tunnel completely dark. Turning and twisting, you don't know what's going on.
Then the cart enters a "cave" and stops again where a short video of the yeti dismantling the tracks is shown. The cart moves forward agony but leaves through a different entrance, again in the dark, moving and turning you come out the cave and make a huge dip down the front of the mountain next to the waterfall. The coast circles the mountain comes up again and twists and turns, before reaching the end.
Defiantly not what I expected but still really cool :)
