Long drive down from Bellingen to get withing striking distance of Sydney. Kids had a well earned play in the park while CT & I shopped/put up the tent. Last meal under canvas in OZ so it had to be steak!To get LM to eat his beans we named them all differently - Brian Bernard, Bob helped out by the Danish couple next to us who offered Barbara Bean He ate them all!

Kids went swimming in the morning and then we hired a little motor boat to go out on to the lakes Forster and Tuncarry have a series of lakes that are adjacent to the coast - known as the Great Lakes. I've carried my fishing rod around for about 5 weeks now and haven't used it. Today was the day. Got it rigged up lobbed it in - and even though I couldn't reel a little fish attached itself to the hook and a catch on my first cast! After lots of screetching we got the fish on board (it was tiny) but couldn't get the hook out, getting a bit fed up the blighter took a dive under the boards on the boat so we had to get the fuel can up to dig it out. Finally got the hook out and threw it back in and it floated off on its back at which poitn the kids decided they didn't like fishing because the fish could get hurt. Although towards the end of the 2 hours they were threading the bait on the hook.

Had lunch and arrived back in Sydders at 6pm
