Mon 7th Feb We arrived in Chicago at 3.30pm American time, weather was very miserable and cold. the hotel was fabulous, overlooking the river and 30 floors up. We had a walk in the city, had a meal and went to bed at 9pm. Tues 8th Our body clocks were way out so we were up and out for 7.30am having a stroll around in the snow showers. Our holiday got off to a good start in London, we spent a lovely weekend with Karen and Steve ( our neighbours from hell) only joking! We went to see Sat night fever and then on Sun to Windsor Castle. The Queen must have heard we were coming and decided to spend the weekend at Sandringham (her loss). Karen and Steve dropped us off at the airport and we flew out at 12.40 and endured an eight and half hour flight to Chicago.
