And to cap it all off, Sydney.
We left Noosa and drove down the coast in the vague direction of Brisbane Airport, stopping off at Dicky's Beach for me to try a bit of surfing again. The waves were quite big and it was a marathon just to get out shoulder deep. If surfing involved getting batttered by waves and being thrown backwards with no idea where the board is, I'd be ready for the pro-tour now!
Arrived in Sydney to dark and cold, which took us by surprise because we'd forgotten what that was like. Anywho the past three days have been glorious and I've been lucky to see all the landmarks at their best.
The highlights (and lowlights!) include the ferry ride over to Manly and the gorgeous beaches over there; finally seeing the amazing harbour bridge and opera house and being robbed blind by a convenience store for a pack of Mcvities biscuits! Those of you who ask 'why did you pay it then?!' have forgotten my girlfriends biscuit passion and that I'm a mug!
To finish our time in Australia we've spent the day at Bondi Beach today which was really nice and reminded me of Cornwall.
So that's it for Aus. It's been an amazing four or so months that we'll never ever forget, the blog only scratches the surface of how much fun we've had but thanks for all the messages they've really made us smile :)
Next stop New Zealand. Pant wettingly excited!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Easter everyone...........
