Hi Everyone!

This weekend was our epic visit to Sydney!!

After catching the super quick flight from Melbourne, we met up with Joey in Hyde Park in Sydney. We had a walk around the Paddy's Market and bought a few goodies and then went for a lovely lunch at a pancake house in Darling Harbour.

We took a short ride on the monorail to have a look around the city but as the weather was miserable and there was hundreds of tourists, we decided to get away from the crowds and head over to Manly on the ferry.

Manly is the nicest place in Sydney, it was lovely getting off the ferry to see a beautiful beach (and no crowds!). I had managed to find a perfect little B&B The Freshwater Oasis which was absolutely amazing! We spent a good hour enjoying looking around our new pad and Joey befriended the two resident doggies!

Me and Joey had fun swimming in our private pool in the rain and then we all enjoyed a take out pizza and an early night ready for a big day's sightseeing tomorrow!

Day two...Today I had booked a surprise tour of the Sydney Opera House for mum and she absolutely loved it!! We then took a stroll around Sydney Botanic Gardens and then went on the big red sightseeing tour bus around the city!

At lunchtime we headed out to Bondi beach which is beautiful and we had a paddle in the sea before heading back into Manly for the evening where we went for a really good meal at Ivanhoes.

Day three..We had a lazy day at the pool sunbathing and swimming and then packed up all our suitcases and headed to the airport to catch our plane.

A brilliant trip...lots of walking and lots of sightseeing!
