Welcome to our first ever blog!

We're counting down the days untill we jet off, but we thought we'd let you all know about 'Big Tuesday'!!!

With weeks in the making and friends & family wishing us the best of luck for our massive-get-our-act-together day, we dragged ourselves out of bed at 9 o'clock on our first ever day off work (would rather be AT work looking back on the day now) we thumped the alarm clock and set off to Manchester....via Burnley town centre for malaria tablets & Winfields for swiss army knife & international plugs! Then, we SHOPPED!!!

£450 later (all on Chris' card as I blocked myself out of my bank acoount after only 4 hours of using it - hehe, did I do it on purpose?!) we headed back to the car park at 8.15pm with 72 shopping bags and £14 to pay for the ticket!!!!!!!!! Chris was not a happy bunny! If we'd've been 32 minutes earlier (i.e. if I didn't hunt around for that last top which I didn't buy anyway) then it would've only been £6. Finally arrived home at 10pm!

It was a great, great, wonderful day, and our feet and stress levels (& bank!) will never forget it. It's not all fun & games!
