Hey everyone!!

So we are finally here! It was really sad to say goodbye to everyone back home but our adventure has started now and theres no turning back!

At the airport we sat at what we thought was our gate for a good half an hour, but when we queued up we realised it was infact the wrong gate so we had to run literally miles from one end of heathrow to the other! It almost killed me, im so crap at running! lol But luckily our flight was delayed anyway so we made it..... if it had been any other day we might not be here now! The plane journey was long and uncomfortable and we hardly got any sleep. When we got off the plane and collected our luggage we walked outside to find a bus and the heat hit us like a hot smuthering blanket! We were so sweaty, especially carrying our huuggee backpacks too. Im so unfit! We waited around for a bus and it took us two hours to get to Khao san road, it was rush hour! I was so so desperate for the loo too so as soon as we got there i ran to the nearest bar and pee'd like ive never pee'd before!!

We are staying in Bella Bella hostel for two nights, its only 270 bhat a night, which is about three pounds! Bargain! The room is basic, with two beds and a fan but its fine. We went out and ate sweet and sour chicken and noodles which was lovely, the people are really nice, they are really efficient and want to please. We walked down Khao san road and i brought a cheap dress for about 2 pounds and beccy brought a top. We saw some interesting things, like a petrol station that has been turned into a bar at night! i couldnt imagine that in st albans somehow lol. We also saw an old man playing an electric guitar very enthusiastically! great fun haha. We went into a bar and met some wierd chaps. They were from new zealand but seemed either very drunk or drugged up... probably both, so we left sharpish! We hit that sack at about 11 local time but because our body clocks havent quite ajusted yet we woke up at about 3, couldnt really sleep.

Today we are going to visit some temples and stuff, we will stay here another night, but we are both eagar to get to the sea so tomorrow night (wednesday) We will get a night bus to Chumphon and then a boat to koa tao island.

Just so you know, my phone isnt working... it cant find a network thats why i havent text anyone or recieved any texts from you. And also hotmail is down so we cant e-mail either, so if you read this pass it on so everyone knows we are ok. So far its been really good, both a bit tired and groggy but we will soon settle into it. We have taken some photos but coz its so hot and theres no plugs we cant straighten our hair so we look dirt! haha its like China all over again Kates!! So yeah... no pictures for now afraid!

Anyway, im missing you all already. Hope you are all ok, we are just fine! Missing you alot Jordan and thinking of you as always! Hope you are ok at home on your own Mum, keep your chin up :) Make sure you send me lots of e-mails so i can read them when hotmail is working again!!
