Big day in the coach today. We left Jasper and travelled Yellowhead Highway along the Fraser and Thompson rivers. Same route as travelled as fur traders. We saw a black bear mum and 3 cubs, shat a highlight. She sat for us for some time, cubs climbed a closs tree but mum hung around. Morning tea break was at Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies. More coach and then lunch at a Rv park with lovely lake views. Not sure about this stop. A couple of hours later and we arrived at Sun Peaks. A ski resort that is pretty much self contained. Own shops, restaurants and pubs. A really lovely place. It would be beautiful in winter. Rex znd I gave the optional meal a dodge and a fantastic italian meal then caught up with others for a night cap. Running out of days now.
