We can't wait to see the DVD. I'm so glad you enjoyed it too. It was good dad came and saw you too. It sounds like you have been very busy. So has jo with all the parties! To everyone, The postcard is where we have been this morning!!!!! We are on our second day in Florence. They call it Firenze here. We think it is a bit of a frenzy. Lots and lots of people and tourists. It took us ages to find our camp site, driving around the city in peak hour! Having to get back on the freeway and try again. But we made it! We walked around all day yesterday seeing the sights. Amazing, amazing amazing. We can't get over the ancient history everywhere. I think Florence is the city of statues. Huge, enormous, naked men and women everywhere!!!!!! Grand fountains and gardens on such a huge scale. We have loved looking at the gardens. We want to plan a 20 acre garden next! not really, just fanticising. Have just been in Italy's most famous art gallery. The Uffizi. We got little headphones and a recording to guide us through the gallery, so it could be educational for us as well! Saw how art has developed over the centuries. We payed 1 euro for a cappaccino outside the gallery and 4 euros for a cup in the gallery! We can pay 6 Euros for two cakes and two cappaccinos if we stand at the counter and eat them or pay 14 euros for the same thing if we sit down at a table! 6 euros = about $10 australian. We are heading further north tomorrow towards Milan. Then up into switzerland to see the mounties!!!! We hope to stop somewhere flatter and do a few bike rides in the next couple of days. We have seen enough cathedrals (Duomos) and art for a while. We have been walking everywhere and haven't been on a bilke for 4 days. We will leave Florence Sunday morning when the traffic won't be too bad. Probably wont be near an internet place for a little while. Not sure. We are having a fantastic time. Love Cheryl P.S.
