Ah sitting on our balcony in Suly Resort, Ubud eating noodles and drinking beer! Got the mosi coils burning just in case anything decides to eat me! Had a gorgeous breakfast this morning of fresh juice, toast, poached eggs, fruit & yoghurt. Actually the yoghurt wasn't so gorgeous - a wee bit sour for my liking. It's now 6:30pm here and pitch black! One minute it's light then the next it's like someone has switched the lights off!

Had a chilled out day today, took the shuttle bus from our resort in to the centre of Ubud. First stop the Monkey Forset - wow never seen so much monkeys just roaming about a few inches away from you! I (Chelle) was a bit scared they were going to steal my hat but nope I/the hat was fine! So amazing to see them playing in their natural habitat. Wondered about for the rest of the afternoon, booked accommodation for the next few nights, saw Ubud Palace and generally didn't do much!

Ubud is a real hippy kind of place, lots of galleries, organic restaurants etc. Really cool - we definitely like!

Our next few days are going to be busy visiting temples and climing volcanoes! Bring it on!
