Headed to Sumner Beach today with Laura and Lisa. Laura is from near Basingstoke and Lisa is from LA. We got off the bus and we were faced with more shipping containers!! Even so it was a lovely sunny day and very warm

Today I went on a free city tour. Then found a shop where you can enter for free, use the free wifi and play with Lego. All for free!! In the evening me and Laura went to the open air cinema and watched back to the future 2.

Spent the day again with jackie, went to the Canterbury museum and played cards in the botanical gardens. Came back to my hostel to find this on my pillow. An apology from the hostel due to the generator they are using for a couple of days

This is jackie from Holland! I also met her in Queenstown but she is here for a couple of days too. Went to quake city which is a museum which tells you all about the earthquakes and the future plans for the city.

Walked over 4ks today with 20k backpack. Walking from the hotel I stayed with the parents to my hostel. Managed to get lost a couple of time on the way and run into a Belgium girl I met in Queenstown! We went for a coffee and explored the city for the rest of the day. It's a small world
