This morning I started my day off with a lovely breakfast before going out for a coffee. I then made my way over to the beaches of Noosa to walk the national park coastal trail. Was great weather for it and I was lucky not to get rained on. The beaches had perfect surf, and at the cliff edges waves crashed against the rock. I visited Hells Gate, a part of the coastline where the cliff edge comes inward forming a V in the rocks. It was massive and had a huge drop to the sea. The waves were crashing in and the wind was howling. It really did look like the gates of hell!
I then wandered back towards Noosa town and did some shopping for lunch and something to try and sustain my 16 hour bus journey.
After a very late lunch I got my things together and made my way over to the bus stop.
The bus was annoyingly late but it meant I got chatting to the people waiting there with me. When the bus did eventually arrive we all hopped on and braced ourselves for the hours to come.
All went well, and although I didn't get too much sleep I managed more than on my previous overnight bus. Although, I have started to develop a cough and I felt really bad because there were people around me asleep and I was just breaking into little coughing fits! Plus, my little adventure earlier in the day hasn't exactly left me smelling of roses!
