Around NZ, we'd heard masses about Auckland, mainly how it is the armpit of the country. Yes, it certainly is another city, but we thought the descriptions were a tad harsh. Having said that, here we witnessed the most policing! Because modest NZ'ers don't brag about how great they are, which is what Aucklanders do.
We had consciously decided to spend only a day in this city. What with Diwali approaching, we decided to train it to give thanks at a Gurudawara (Sikh temple) in the suburb Takanini. It being a week day, despite from a few seva dar (worshipers) we were the only ones at the temple, but that did not take away from our thanks giving!
We couldn't think of a better way to end our time in beautiful New Zealand than to go watch the amazing 'Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour' by the fantastic Cirque du Soleil, at Vector Arena.
We recognise on a daily basis how fortunate and blessed we are to be experiencing such an epic trip of a lifetime. The memories made to date through experience have been joyful and nothing short of amazing.
