Day one of Contiki!
An early start, too early, and hungover, too hungover.
Two hours on the bus, an hour and a half on the Ferry across the English Channel and we're in France! Another five hours on the bus and we arrived in the capital, Paris!
We've made some new friends of course- there's Dylan and Jay, the siblings from Melbourne, and Mel, "Milly", and Chiara, who're from Perth too. Kelly was right, it really is 99% Australians, the remaining 1% being from America or Canada.

Dinner was pretty average, I'm not feeling hugely excited for the quality of vegetarian food on the tour, with purchasing half of our own meals though I won't starve. There's bound to be something local and lovely.
After dinner we had a bus tour around the city, getting glimpses at all the major landmarks that we'll be visiting tomorrow. We then climbed the Eiffel Tower, making it back in time for it to be lit up at 11pm.

Right now we're learning the dirty intricacies of the Paris metro system.
