After a quick wash and turn around we headed out into the city to explore. The hustle and bustle of the city was rife with people heading to work, city seers and shops opening for buisness. The buildings are beautiful high risers surrounded by old exquisite orange and brick buildings. The station is huge and as we crossed the roads the walkways click to indicate we could walk. We are breakfast in a cafe alongside the yarra river.
We travelled the city using the tram system, like many tourist's we got on the wrong tram first as it was going in the opposite direction but it all added to the adventure. We then travelled to Luna park at kilda after having to get off the tram due to a bad accident (which was all over the news that evening) and we then saw a women doing yoga whilst waiting for the tram! Unfortunately Luna park was closed due to a school trip but we explored st kilda beach and stopped for refreshments in a cafe where we sat outside to soak up the rays! We caught the tram back and stopped off at the shrine of remembrance. Wow this was a lovely building and the feeling inside made me go goosey. We walked upto the balcony which enabled us to see the city from above, the city looked tiny with high rise buildings looking like they were built right next to each! We then explored the botanical gardens before walking back to our hotel. Tonight we ate in a Mexican restaurant in the city called mamasita, yummy meal tom had a variety of 3 tacos and I had steak
