As the wheels touched down on runway at Melbourne international airport I made a sigh of relief, and I was totally excited about our adventure!
We seemed to wait for ages to go through passport control and then headed to collect our luggage. We met Wally who kindly drove us to our hotel. As we drove through Melbourne it reminded me of New York, the building were tall and the streets were wide and even at 9pm on a sunday evening the streets were buzzing.
We checked into our hotel The causeway, on Little Collins street then headed out to try and get our barrings. The streets were in blocks and then within those blocks were lovely little street ways which were full of cafés, restaurants, bars & shops. So quirky.
