We were woken up by Edith's beautiful loud voice again this morning, shouting "Breakfast time!!!" Over and over until we were downstairs and sitting at the table. This time there were no baked beans so Chris sulked. After breakfast we went back upstairs to get changed and ready for the beach. We were standing on the balcony when suddenly over fifty school children arrived on the island! Not bad for a school trip but they were really noisy and they were running around everywhere! We decided to escape from them by chilling out up stairs for a few hours, it was cloudy this morning so we didn't feel like we were missing anything. Later on when the sun came out Chris went down and put our towels on our usual sun beds. We put some music on and caught up on a few things, I had to sew up my broken clothes and shave off bobbles from a t shirt. I also made myself a new bikini top!
We went down for lunch at 12. They served it at 11:45 but we waited for the long line of kids to go first. The food was the same as everyday, BBQ! We sat inside and ate away from all the crazy kids and Chris laughed as one of them tried to get a beer from Edith at the bar! He probably would have done the same thing at his age.
Chris got two extra pieces of fish from the barbecue today so he could hand feed the reef sharks again. They weren't anywhere to be seen so he wrapped the fish up in tissue and stuffed them into his pocket for later! For the sharks though, not for himself. We were planning on going kayaking and paddle boarding today but the bloody kids had everything and never seemed to put them down! They were really funny to watch. Chris heard a family complaining about all the kids being there, said it ruined their day but they had bloody kids themselves! We didn't mind, they were entertaining. They were all really polite and kept saying hello and introducing themselves, if it was a school trip at home stuff would be broken, stolen or graffitied!
Later we watched Edith feed the sharks again, they must be used to a regular feeding time because they weren't around earlier. Chris pulled the fish out from his pocket and wanted to go in the water and feed them by hand but there were too many kids there. He was worried they would try the same thing and get hurt. So we sat back in the sun until 3pm when Chris wanted to try feeding them again, all the time he had the stinky fish in his pocket! This time the tide was too high and it was too choppy to stand in the water and feed them, so we just chucked it to them and watched, they still came around our feet though.
We sat in the sun again until 5pm. I noticed the teachers on a table behind us were getting really drunk and some were passing out in the sun! It was quite shocking to see, their behaviour wasn't professional at all but quite disturbing! One of the really drunk teachers was filling up water bottles with free beer from the bar and throwing the empty cans on the floor! This made me angry so I wanted to go and pick them up but Chris had a go at me, so I just gave evil stares at them. Some realised I had been watching them and moved away from the really drunk teacher. Then I walked over with my own empty bottle and threw it hard into the bin in front of him. I knew it would make no difference, these people had no respect for their environment and it was such a shame that those well behaved kids had them as role models. Even the kids were throwing their rubbish in the bins but I wondered how long that would last.
It was really quiet when all the kids left, there were only four of us staying on the island again. We got showered and ready for dinner then bought a cocktail and beer from the bar and we went to watch the sun set. It was still cloudy so it wasn't very good, we must have been lucky the day we arrived. Dinner was inside again, we had a really nice curry. The people staying this time were really weird! There's the quiet French guy from yesterday, an English girl who sounds like she wants to kill herself, she was soooo boring we called her suicide girl and a Finnish girl we called baboon butt as we noticed earlier her arse was red raw! Looked like some kind of nappy rash! We didn't want to stay up talking to them so we used the excuse we were packing our bags to leave and go into our room! We played a few games on the I pad before finally going to bed.
