Week 16- Australia (Melbourne) Day 3
Today we were doing our 'proper tourist act' again. We got the team into the City and then got on a really old tram which is free and takes us found the city to most of the main sites. It was quite cool! It was a bit like a guide tour as at each stop it told you a bit about each place and how to get to other places from the stops. After that we ended up at Federation Square, so we had a mooch around there and we also checked out the visitors centre for some extra information about Melbourne and the Great Ocean road. Was good to learn more about the city and get our bearings abit too!
After that we headed back to Max's, on our way home we picked up some more ingredients for our epic roast chicken that we were going to cook tonight! Ahhh we couldn't wait to get into the kitchen and cook some proper food! We use our lemon that we got from 'Ramsey street' yesterday to make lemon roast chicken with roast potatoes, roasted carrots and parsnips, peas, stuffing Yorkshire puds a and gravy! Omg it was delightful even if I do say so myself! For dessert we had Caramel tim tans with tea. Brian taught us a technique to eat them, you bite off 2 opposite corners then suck your tea up thorough the tim tam then it turns into a warm gooey chocolately explosion in your mouth it's amazing! I can see us getting very addicted to these! We all sat down to watch Harry Potter as Max and Char haven't seen any of the films! Happy days :).
