Week 13- Thailand (Phuket) Day 1

Today we got the bus back to Phuket were we started ready for our flight to Kuala Lumpur. The bus didn't take too long about (3hours) but we had a nutty driver that made it a very bumpy ride! We checked into our hostel which didn't seem too bad, we were in a dorm.

We were both absolutely starving so we headed towards to beach and we both had 2 huge jacket potatoes with chilli con crane. We were very stuffed and definitely wouldn't need food again today! We went back to the hostel and chilled out for a few hours before heading to Bangha Road for some shopping. We wanted to get a few tops ready for Oz as it's a lot cheaper here, so we got our bartering on!

We had met two Canadian girls in our dorm and we had planned to go a see a cabaret show (lady boys) altogether but once we got there we were the only people in the audience so we made a quick turn around and headed for the door! We wasn't up for drinking so we went back to our hostel for an early night, although, we ended up being up to the early hours of the morning talking about Oz, New Zealand and one of the girls English lovers! There were very funny and we loved hearing their stories about travelling Australia.
