On our last day in Auckland we went to do some wine tasting on Waihike Island! Russell gave us a lift to the ferry and after an hour we were there! We went first through the main town to a winery called Mud brick, which was absolutely beautiful, it felt like we were in an Italian villa! They also had a dessert wine which made rob happy!

After we went to another vineyard nearby which also had a beautiful setting. We then got the bus from the village to the other side of the island for a last tasting at Stonyridge, before getting a bus and walking back for the ferry. The weather was beautiful and it was a lovely walk.

When we got back to Half Moon Bay we met Marilyn and Russell and they took us to a Chinese they knew for us to buy them dinner as a thank you. They are so nice and we really enjoyed it, the food was gorgeous and served in huge portions, and the lady who ran it was bonkers! We had a few glasses of wine and chilled, it was lovely.
