Today the three of us had a lazy start to be day, then went over to the West Coast over from Auckland. It was gorgeous, a really pretty drive. The walk Oli wanted us to do was closed, so instead she took us to Bethell's beach, a black sand beach. On the way we stopped and went on a walk over to a stream which was pretty, then over to the beach for sunset. It was lovely.

Afterwards we went back to Auckland to get dinner then get ready for our night out! First we went for a Thai dinner all together in Howick which was really tasty, then back to get ready with some drinks. The weather was much nicer than the night before so we got our dresses on and had some fizz to celebrate our reunion! Rob dropped us off at the viaduct and off we went - we had a brilliant night, even if some of the bars were a bit weird! The highlight was definitely Oli sneaking into the wrong club!

At 2.30 we went to McDonald's for Rob to pick us up, when we found out he'd had a disaster - the ancient car had broken down in Howick village, and he'd already been waiting an hour for a tow truck to come. We got a taxi back and I waited up for rob to come back - another two hours! Not impressed.
